Hearty Beef Stew ~ Simple Inspiration

We did not follow a recipe, but had all the necessary components to make a delicious Beef Stew!

Chuck Beef...

Carrot...

Celery...

Fresh Pearl Onions...

Bacon...

Quartered Potatoes...

Plus... diced tomatoes, beef stock, bay leaf, garlic and thyme...

salt, pepper, parsley and a delicious crusty bread.

all cooked down together yielded "Heaven in a Bowl"......after a somewhat challenging day.

Chances are...you have some of these ingredients too!

I love this post! Despite how I feel about beef stew :) Put it this way, when I was a kid, my mom would say eat it or go to your room... I was in my room a lot!! No matter, I love your deconstructed version!

This is somthing I really miss from growing up in Wisconsin. It used to be the only way I would eat vegetables. And the photos even make "wet meat" look tasty.

Looks delicious and I love how you deconstructed the various components of the stew and made them look so elegantly plated for the photos!!

If I don't get to visit your blog until the new year (because I'm going away for the holidays and therefore will be offline), have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and happy holidays and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

For a meal like this I don't think you NEED a recipe. Each ingredient speaks for itself!
